The Wirral Peninsula

The Wirral Peninsula is a very desirable area in which to live, with a mild climate, excellent schools, first class transportation facilities and easy access to all the Chester and Liverpool business areas. There is an exceptionally wide variety of housing on the Peninsula, ranging from modest terraced houses to fabulous mansions in the million pound price range. Leisure pursuits are very well catered for with an exceptional variety of golf courses, including the world famous Royal Liverpool Golf Club which hosted the 2006 Open Championship. Clive Watkin Partnership was appointed as sole accomodation agents by the R & A for the Championship. Competitive yachting and windsurfing is a popular pastime at West Kirby and Hoylake. Rugby Union devotees are well catered for with teams at New Brighton and Birkenhead Park, whilst soccer fans have the choice of First Division Tranmere Rovers or, travelling across the Mersey, to visit the Premiership clubs at Liverpool and Everton.
