Bebington is a small town situated five miles south of Liverpool, close to the River Mersey on the eastern side of the Wirral Peninsula. It holds the honour of being named the most desirable postcode in which to live in the whole of the United Kingdom following a report commissioned by the Royal Mail.

The town of Bebington has been credited as the location for the ‘Birth of England’ back in 927 BC at the Battle of Brunanburh. The battle supposedly took place on what is now the lush Brackenwood Golf Course, a full 18 hole municipal course that is popular with local residents and visitors. Bebington also benefits from other green spaces, such as the peaceful Storeton Woods and iconic Levers’ Causeway, both areas of natural beauty within the town. The Oval Sports Centre, located near Port Sunlight village, featured in the 1981 British historical drama sports film Chariots of Fire, and is an athletics stadium and leisure centre with outdoor ski slope.

Bebington also has two top performing grammar schools, Wirral Grammar School for Boys and Wirral Grammar School for Girls. Alongside this, Bebington benefits from excellent transport links, with a railway station linking the town with Birkenhead, Chester and Liverpool, and is close to the M53 motorway and Birkenhead Tunnel.
